I noticed this before but didn't give to much attention to it, but it seams that i still can hear my speakers " Sish" even when i have my radio of.
The sound like you have your radio on but put the volume on zero.

When i close down the ignition it's gone also. So when i open it again but don't start the engine i hear it best.

Any ideas anyone....?? Is this normal....??

Mine does the same, I am guessing it is an amplified zero due to the stock amp? my guess only.

the radio is not the only source for your speakers. Your navigation and your warnning system also use your speakers.

Since all speakers in out FX are powerd, any noise that is generated is amplified and can be heard though the speakers.

Usually, the noise you're hereing is White Noise. Another words, it the sound of "nothing". It's the sound that you amp makes by just being on. try this at home, trun on your Amp, and put your CD on pause. You'll here the same noise. In the FX case, since it's waiting for Signal from other sources as well, it will still make that sound even if the volume is all the way down.

It will make louder noises during the changing of the CD. If you have after market Amps, it's even louder at times.

Try truning your audible warning and Navigation sound off.

Yes Fxtion that's exactly what i hear. Just wondering how i can turn of these warning sounds then and what they exactly are as i do not have any NAV and never heard any other sounds try the stereo.

Sometimes when you forget to close the door right a little *Beep* comes out the dash but that doesn't come from the speakers i think.

Have you tried going through your console setup? Unfortunately, I'm not able to walk you through steps, since I have NAV and my menu would be different. I remember seeing something about warnings or alerts where you choose if you want them to be audio and visual or just visual only. On mine it's the same place were you choose if you want to beep when you lock the doors.

Sorry, maybe someone who does not have a Nav/Tech package can chime in and answer this question.

Another thing I noticed, unlike the aftermarket stereo equipment, the Stock amp are not equipped with what is called Remote Wire. Remote wire is what tells the amp to turn on and off when the radio goes on or off. The remote wire in the FX is wired to the ignition and only goes off when you turn the ignition switch to off.
