Radar detector: Invisicord question.

I finally received my Valentine 1 in the mail today. I also bought the Invisicord to connect to the rear view mirror. Does anyone have any pics or info on how to install this. Any help would be appreciated.

No I didn't. Seems pricey for $40.

I looked at some threads on g35driver and wow they had a lot of info,threads, and pics. I just installed the detector with the cord. Took literally 2 minutes.

The mount is pricey but it's very convenient. Most people don't even notice the V1 in the my car when they get in. Helps with worries of break ins to me.

Thats what concerns me, the break ins. IS the mount relatively easy to install. Also is it easy to see the detector like it is on the windshield?

It's easy to install, and it's hardly noticeable from the outside since it is attached to the mirror. No suction cups are seen like using the regular mount.

Yes, I know about them and have heard nothing but good things. But, $40 :thumpdown:

Theres a guy on G35driver & My350z that makes the mounts also - hes a lot cheaper than the countryjoy ones.

It might make a little difference but negligible IMO for the stealth and more of a clean install that the mirror mounts provide.

I find Mikes mount a bit flimsy looking. But to each their own. Either one will give you a clean install.
