Has anyone changed their rack and pinion on the fx35? I have a 2008 FX35 and the adjustment not keeps working itself loose. I am sick of adjusting it over and over again, the rack itself is starting to leak not dripping on the ground but getting covered with fluid so I would like to replace it but what I’m wondering is if anybody’s replaced their rack and pinion and it’s lasted for at least a few years. As I browse the web for a new one without paying $1500 at the dealership, I work on eBay and wondering if those cheaper ones are worth getting, I’ve seen some reviews where they’ve only lasted a couple years so if anyone’s changed theirs and it’s lasted I’m wondering what brand name you purchased.
