Oh yes, ordering this tonight! Been looking for years it seems for a GT Spec or Dragon (Sohail on here). Wish we knew the G37 bars fit earlier!
I put a Stillen bar on my Gen1 and while it didn't transform the truck into a 911, it did keep the front a little more tighter/composed. Not really flatter (that's the sway bar/springs, not the strut bar), but less deflection/squish in the front chassis. I expect a similar modest improvement on the gen 2. Our hoods are so long and the engine bay has no other bracing like this, so mechanically it's asking for distortion/flex in the turns.
Have you noticed any improvement in drive?Just a thread bump to further confirm that G37 bars DO fit! Crazy we didn’t know this sooner, I was looking/waiting for GT Spec and Sohail for years. I went with the Cusco, perfect fitment and great quality/welds, great JDM reputation.
Passenger side is very easy and straightforward. Driver side is a bitch with those hard lines in the way, you need to remove a couple clips to make a little more space and massage the bracket in place. Quite easy overall for the 3.7. You’ll need a simple variety of ratchets/wrenches and extensions and short bits and whatnot given the space. Felt nice on a short drive this afternoon. Absolutely no reason not to get one given the cost ($180 shipped on amazon?) and easy DIY.
