Hi All,
I'm thinking of buying a used 2008 FX35 from a dealer (<20K miles). I never had an Infiniti before so my question is what should I look for regarding possible hidden/future problems with the vehicle. I don't want to end up with a "lemon" :) so any suggestions of problematic areas and past buying experiences? Your help is deeply appreciated!

p.s.
What is a good price for a nicely loaded one?

08 fx35

I have had my FX45 for two years and have not had one problem. I bought mine used, simply because it still had factory warranty. So that addressed the lemon issue for me.
Check nada.com and kelly blue book for used values. I also would check e-bay and get a feel for what used ones are selling for.

I recommend taking the VIN of the vehecule you're interested in and do a history check on it (most people ignore the obvious). I bought my 2005 Fx45 used and it took me a while to make my decision on the one I chose. After everything checked out, in the end I went with my instincts.
Happy hunting.

yeh, #1 & maybe only real concern is weather it was damaged & repaired, that's the only real thing to watch out for with a practically new one... don't rely on a vin check, a visual inspection by a real tech is the best thing...

No real problems with the FX platform 35 or 45 aside from the usual minor TSB's and recall's that the dealer takes care of. Check if the FX you are set to buy has had all the recalls and TSB's done.

Idk but the used '08s aren't a huge price difference from the brand new '08s. If you want something alot cheaper you can get an '04 or '05 around $27K.

Some of the used '08s even sell higher than it's original MSRP. Don't get tricked by car salesman. You trick them into getting a lower price.

Wait, why did i just quote myself? lmao that was meant for the threader.
