Question about paint

Hey FXellent, I wasn't tryin to attack u with my comment even tho it seems like it may have been directed at u. No offense intended. I do agree on not driving with groups of people. Makes it easier to keep the car clean. I also agree that its probably easier to keep black interior clean than a wheat one. Brick interior however looks the best, like in Stu's car.

If you get second thoughts about a certain FX just try to find another one you don't want to keep worrying about a certain problem the whole entire time you own the car, look for another one that you fall in love with :D

The original color I wanted was white. Then I found the black one, then the mocha.. now I am back to looking at white. All the white ones have beige interior. I guess I will just settle for the beige and put some seat covers on. I work in safety (mostly teaching safety classes) and occasionally I have to go out to oil rigs/ locations and I always end up with sand and chemical all over myself. Seat covers will probably become my new best friend if I cant find white with black interior

You'll find one keep looking or it will come up. I waited fir my white with black interior and it finally came! ;)

Another thing you can o is possibly ask the sales person to see if there is a way they can find you a particular FX. I was talking to a sales rep once at an Infiniti Dealer about purchasing an FX50 and he said they can work out deals with other dealers and get the particular car you are looking for. The only catch is you might have to pay a little extra and possibly can't negotiate it down a lot. But I say if there's a particular thing or color you want then go for it and don't get something you might regret in a month.

Bleedingsujit.....I know you weren't attacking me  I didn't take it that way so its all good.

Jessica - If you are out around oil rigs on occassion I would definitely stay away from the beige interior if you can avoid it. It is a beautiful color and I do like it but it is the single regret I have about getting my FX. If I had it to do over again I would have still gotten the white but with black interior.

You will love the beige if it is all you can find but use the seat covers or just be mindful that there is a little extra work involved with keeping it clean. I MUST have my car looking showroom new inside and out at all times so I am a bit anal retentive with cleaning....I am probably not the norm. Good luck on the search. If you can afford to wait you will eventually find the one you want. I agree you should call a couple of Infiniti dealers around the country and have a salesman keep a look out.
