problem with the smart cc??help

hey guys am new to IS its my first thread well i just had my paint job and after i took it noticed that the front cc is painted 2 sometimes it brakes and sometimes no wats the problem u think?is it bcz its painted and i should clean it??thanks

Your not suppose to paint over the intelligent cruise control box

well i told them but u knw ppl they wont listen..so if clean it up would this make it run well??

A harsh cleaner to remove the paint might also damage the sensor's surface. (like abrasive etching) You may still have problems. Cleaning or replacing the sensor's face will be required. It's the only way to "see" cars in front of you.

ok thanks for the help i well take it to the dealer and c wats the problem if it was sensor's or something else
