Powder Coating Question

So Im asking around for powdercoating my stock rims and i get places saying from 300 to 450 a rim to powdercoat is this reasonable i never done powdercoating hence why i want opinions also my stock rims are 5 spoke 20in if tha helps thanks

Got my wheels powdercoated for 100 bucks each. Shop around. That price quote you got is rediculas.

Way too high. I got quoted $75 ea with prep. Just dont tell them the wheels are off a 50K vehicle. Some shops think since you have a car like, cash must be flying around your cabin and you can afford to spend the extra $$$
 
I went to elite coatings on long island. They are also on the forum. I think you get a discount for mentioning that your a member on iS.

Also just a heads up. Powdercoating is over rated. Pita to maintain ( scratch very easily) and you risk the chance of getting wheel shake. (which i have >=\ and some others here on iS) If i could do it all over again, i'd get get them painted at a auto body shop.
