Possible to Change Door Seal Plate Illumination to Blue?

I like the blue-backlight in the gauges display and center console of the '15 QX70, and would like to know if the front door sill plates illuminating blub can be switched to give off the blue illumination likewise?

Anyone tried this (or another color beneath the sill (scuff/kick) plates?

In my goal to match the piercing, blue-hue in the gauge-display of the QX70, I bought Samsung 4x Super Bright Ultra Blue LEDs (6 pieces); 5630 SMD T10 Wedge 194 168 2825 W5W 175 Blue LED Bulbs for the front stepwells & door doors. Will post follow-up pics & thoughts once installed.

Idk if this helps but im gonna be ripping out my scuff plates and wiring up some illuminated scuff plates. Not sure if i wanna do these aftermarket ones or the oem infiniti ones. All i know is that when the door is opened the aftermarket ones turn on from the middle outward away from eachother to the corners...and btw is this the blue color your looking for?

I’m just wanting to replace the white LED bulbs in the factory OEM scuff plates I have now; purchased Alla Lighting Blue 4x Super Bright LEDs. Would like to know how the scuff plates come off, so yeah, I’d be Interested in hearing your experience.

I mean i have just the standard non illuminated scuff plates but gonna be looking into switching them out sooner or later.

Ah...I was assuming yours had the illuminated scuff plates, it being an "S", but perhaps not yet offered at the time; I think they are part of the Prem Pkg; not sure...
You may have to go with aftermarket ones because yours aren't currently wired, but the OEM ones should come with the necessary wiring, I guess. I'm a total novice here, so still learning.

Cant remember but since its a 2009 i think it wasnt an option yet i think it came out after 2012 or whenever they change the names to QX.
