Plugs?

On my 17 QX70S under the steering wheel there is the OBD plug and another smaller plug to the right of the steering wheel. What is this for?

I tried to find some info for that plug but came up empty. As for reprogramming the TPMS, I also tried grounding the wire that you mentioned but could not get it to work on my 09 FX50. I ended up going to a local tire store and had them do it. I think it cost me around $25.

Are you implying that there is something in the owner's manual about this connector. If so, I didn't find anything.

I went through the entire manual and found nothing. There might be something in the service manual. Not my car, but my interest is peaked.
