Phonebook while driving

Hello to all! Great forum! I'm on the forum every day since I got the 2011 FX35. Here is my problem so far. There is only possible way to see your mobile phone phonebook when the car is not driving. I understand that this feature is disabled by the speed sensor. Is there are any possible way to disconnect this sensor? Or any other way to hack it?

Hello and welcome.

VSS speed wire can be disconnected, put on a switch, etc and it allows for nav input, dvd playback and other things while the car is in motion... Use the search button at the top and you'll find threads discussing the process; even has pictures.. Good luck.
 
Thank you for quick response. I read that thread. I thought that I can cut this wire in some another place. More easier to reach.
But thanks anyway.
 
You can try a "wire to wire" connection somewhere else, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you had the schematics and know what you're doing.
