Passenger Side hood latch cable snapped?

The passenger side hood latch cable snapped right at the latch. It's a 2009 FX35. The hood only opens at the center and driver side latch. Any ideas on how to open the hood without breaking the grille?

Not too familiar with 2nd Gen body, but you may want to try by going through the passenger side front wheel well.
