Parrot Bluetooth device

Hey guys,

Just purchased my '04 FX35awd 2 weeks ago. The previous owner had installed parrot (3200LS) bluetooth for his wireless communication. Everything works fine... but when I turn off the music (or even lower the volume), i hear this small annoying static sound from my front driver speaker... it's really annoying if you really concentrate on it.... I think the previous owner maybe didn't connect somehting all the way in....

Any audio tech out there?

Thanks in advance guys!

Might be a bad connection. Check out the connection to the center speaker as that is usually the speaker used by aftermarket handsfree systems.

Sorry I don't have one myself and I do not believe there is one in the DIY write-up section either. I had my motorolla BT IHF1000 installed at a local audio/video shop years ago and we used the center speaker instead of using the supplied small speaker box. It all worked out like oem.

I'm sure someone will chime in with some advice on this.

there are plug in interfaces that are awesome for this, just buy that & the parrot bt kit & it's a plug & play affair, so much easier than trying to wire it all up for audio interupt & everything, it's all done for you...

if they used something like this then check behind the radio, if they didn't then still check behind the radio, either way, yeah, check behind the radio :)

This is the only two ways to hook up the kit. You have to look behind the radio and see how the previous owner did it.

This is how I did it with my 3200LS, but I hooked it upto the center channel speaker:

Some people bought the "Plug n Play" SDGUY kit:

edit:oops same one as Turbo posted ^

I would check the 3200's ground...usually that type of interference is caused by the ground coming off/loose.

Also, it sounds like your kit is hooked upto the driver speaker and not the center channel? Doesn't really matter....just wondering.

Just realized that it's not my parrot bluetooth making the static sound (my front driver's speaker)... I was listenin to radio this morning and used my 'balance' function to move from L5 to R5 and I noticed I'm not getting any sound from the driver's speaker when turned to "L5" mode... I think there's a loose connection somewhere.... do you guys know where I can check to see if there's a loose wire for the speakers?

Thanks guys!
