Painted OEM lower rockers

While my car was at the dealership getting an oil change, someone slid on ice and hit my parked car. I took the opportunity while it was getting the front bumper repainted to have my lower rockers painted. I guess I'm prepared if the aero kit gets discontinued before I get it. But now, I really need to get some wheels...

I really wanted the 2012 bumper....but there wasn't enough damage on the bumper....lol. But if anyone knows of any wheels for sale for a reasonable price, send it my way.

looks better with the sides and the rear painted.. blends with the front lip..
just letting ya know, your rear wiper is supposed to be on the right side.. the 1st gen starts on the left but the 2nd gen starts on the right

Yes, thanx. I fixed that. When I picked up the car, it was loose and on the left for some unknown reason.

Now that the lower rockers are painted....do you think it would look bad if I painted my side vents black?

Also, one of my fogs went out, how do I access the fogs with the lip on? Do I have to take it off to get to the fogs?

Hi your car looks great ! I wanted to do this as well. My question is : When you painted the rear bumper, did you just follow along the lines to leave the rest of the area black ? Or was there a body kit or painted panel that was attached to the black part ? If painted, was it easy to do ? I cant see if the lines were clean and straight ?
