Painted lower trims

Pearl white FXs with painted lowers are hot. It's going to look great when you guys are done.:good: The only thing I dislike, for any color, are the black rubber molding on the door trims that really stand out when the lowers are painted. I think about painting my lowers too and I would probably cut that trim off so it doesn't show.

Pearl white.

Having the same done to my FX after the accident by turbocad. Pearl white also here.

You can. I've seen how the trim looks off the door. Without removing it, you can probably use a box cutter or X-Acto knife and trim it from behind with the door open.

I too would like to paint my lower trim but with the silver it would have to be blended to match right. When I bought my car there was a pretty good ding or gouge in the passenger front door the goofballs that owned it tried to use touchup and it looked like chit, I took it to a friends shop and we had to pretty much blend from the front part of the front fender to the mid back door to make it blend well. It came out perfect but to do the lowers it would be allot of work to do it right. You guys with the basic none metallic colors can do this allot easier. I agree it looks great when done, just wish it was cost effective for me :(

So I go to pick up my fx and I notice that the front and rear bumper is still off the car so I got a little upset after waiting 4 days I thought it will be done so I look at the sides and all the trim is still black so I flipped out these fools painted all the trim and lower bumpers black and painted the bumpers pearl white also my led mirror covers. I had them put the truck back together gave them $300 and left pissed off.. Now that I look at the fx it doesn't look that bad with the trim a newer black. I will post pics tomorrow

I don't think so, since you have a silver metallic color. Do you have any kind of warranty on your paint job?
