Question for you guys who had the clear bra paint proteciton film installed. After getting your car back from the install, did you have to go back to get some imperfections taken care of? For example, a week or two later some of the edges peeled back. This is the first time I had clear bra installed, and it's been 2 weeks and some of the edges are not sticking.

When I picked up my car the guy said I have to go back 30 days later for a follow up. It's only been 2 weeks, and I contacted the guy regarding this issue. He said this is the reason why they have follow ups. What were your experiences with the clear bra install? I'm going back this Saturday, and want to give these guys a piece of my mind. But before I do that I want to make sure this isn't normal.

I actually did my current clear bra myself this time and it should stick w/o problems.

Mine is not peeled back at the edges at all. You would think the sun would help take some of the moisture away after a few days.

I wonder if they used to much IPA (isopropal alcohol) ? along with soapy water

no problems on mine that I can tell, but on the wife's MINI, i need to bring it back to get the mirrors redone. nothing peeled back, but it looks like dirt somehow got under the sides of the mirrors. its pretty noticeable with her white mirrors.

This place charges more than average. They came highly recommended by many different car forums. The place is call Premier Mobile Group. I checked them out online before making my decision. They told me to bring the car in and they will take care of it. They do have life time warranty. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed at the quality. Many of their clienteles are of high end cars. When I dropped off my car they were working on a Mercedes Benz SL & CLK both were black series, lambo, 911 turbo. Based on what others say, I'm hoping this is just a fluke. I hate to think I paid a premium for crap work. :mad: I'll see how they redeem themselves this Saturday.

Never had any issues.

I just picked up a 2009 Dodge Challenger about 2 months ago.. No issues and i had the dealership do it.

While my 2005 Infiniti FX i had done aftermarket. just after i picked up the ride and same thing no issues (cost me 1300 to do the front nose, two mirrors, body sides (Right behind the rear passenger doors), and the rear bumper to prevent scratching the bumper.

( I am going to have to redo the rear bumper but for 300 dollars it has saved me having to paint the bumper and no gody Cargo liner put on the bumper lip. {Sorry to those who might have my personal preference.}

I've had a few bubbles work themselves out, but never any peeling. Usually once the underside of the film is exposed to the elements it no longer sticks. DON'T let them cut it on the car to fix it.
