Paddle Shifter + '09 Gauge Retrofit?

Anyone know if its possible to install paddle shifters (I have seen them installed on G37's but most likely has to be built for it.) from the 2nd gen FX's, also the start up gauges (when starting up they spin like the 09 maxima). I figured for the gauge, it could be possible or some kind of module that will allow it considering the gauges look at same, at least for the fx35. I know the 2010 Maxima's have it as well, surprised it hasn't been offered the on EX35 given its price.

the paddles seems like a worthwhile mod. but for the spinning needle gauge imo i think its a waste of time and energy. If i'm not mistaken the ex gauge looks the same as the 09 fx minus the needle spin?

I though the needle spin was very cool when i first got the car for like about 2 startsup. Not that its not cool anymore i just plainly do not notice it anymore after 2-3 times. I would imagine this mod would involve taking abt the dashboard and modifying the circuit board/chip programming somehow.

Call me crazy... but I love that spinning needle... I don't know why but I do! haha

Hi Zarar, I have installed the paddelshifters in my EX 37. They are working as they would have been installed at the factory. It was a nightmare until I got all the parts. The information about the wirering, I had to found out myself. If you are still interested feel free to contact me.

Details, dont have a EX but looking to do this to my 07-M35 as soon as the info is found.

I have a new 2012 EX35 - the US version. Want to put in the paddle shifter from the G35S sedan or G37S coupe. The shift kits are avail on Ebay just fine...but what else do I need EX37Buddy?

Help much appreciated.

Would be a nice feature to have.

Yeah - I was just hoping he had his notifications still on. I know...but i need to figure out what he did to retrofit these. I'm thinking there is a single wire/cable that goes from the sterring wheel to the transmission housing. Noone on the other forums has done this on an EX. G-s tons. I had them in both my 08 G35S sedan, my 2011 Maxima and my 2011 G27 S coupe (my she rest in peace).

I just installed the paddles in my EX35. It was pretty straight forward, just had to be a bit creative mounting the paddles. The plastics dont fit so they have to be trimmed (just underside) and relocate the steering column power switch.

I posted it on nico but cant post links yet on this site. Just google "ex35 paddle shifters" and it should come up with pics etc.
