is this an easy diy? I just changed my oil yesterday and found the oil filter area pretty wet with oil. Oil plug is dry so culprit is the oil filter area. Filter was on nice and tight so it should be the oil cooler gasket here.
Okay, seems like an easy diy.......what size socket is the oil filter connector bolt? I read on the g35 forums that it's a 27mm.......that sounds pretty darn huge, is this true?
I just replaced the oil cooler seal according to the diy instructions on the murano.org site but did not notice the 'notch' as pictured here.......everything installed okay so far with no leaks after 100 miles of driving, just wondering if our Fx35's have this same notch.....
Didn't know the torque specs but when I removed the bolt, it didn't take much force. The connector bolt doesn't have a thick wall to grip onto, so you don't want to go too tight.
Super easy diy, follow that murano forum link, exact same diy for our fx's.
