Oil Change

Man you're having a bad day with your fluid changes.. Just drain off a little oil, it's easy.

What would happen if I don't ?

Oil will go in the crank case and aerate it and become foamy; and difficult to filter. This causes damage to various engine parts. I would just drain a little out and recheck levels.

The ultimate reference is the oil level, you can put more or less as long as your level reading is on the designated mark on the dip stick.

Remember when checking oil level heat the car up to normal operating temperature. Turn it off and wait 15 minutes for it to drain back into the pan then check the level on the dipstick. It should be between hi and low
