OEM Hitch ?

Corporate confirmed that the part number 999T5EV110 has been discontinued. No word if it's going to be replaced with anything else.
 
Looks like you can still get it from some dealers. I am hesitant to buy as no one has installed it with the ark exhaust
 
Any further info on the discontinued 999T5-EV110, or a replacement? I bought the QX70 because the owner's manual said it can tow. But the aftermarket hitches look bad, both mechanically and aesthetically.
 
I went with the Curt class III on my FX50s and have no problems with the look. It's visible but imo it's definitely not an eye sore. I'll get a pic going and post it later.
 
I just posted in the deals on other sites thread about a guy that has one for sale locally. Not sure if this is what you're looking for.
 
I was also interested in the oem hitch. But didnt want to recut & reweld my custom pipes.
 
Unfortunately the Craigslist ad had expired before I saw it. I'm willing to pay a premium for an OEM hitch, if anyone knows of one, for a '14 QX70.
 
Anyone know of an OEM hitch for sale? I'm about to purchase a Curt Class III for my FX50 but if I can find an OEM hitch for sale I'd rather go that route.
 
Just in case anyone is interested in the Curt class III hitch for the 2nd Gen. www.autoanything.com. is having a 25% off sale. I just bought the hitch which came with a free receiver cover for $131.24 with free shipping. I was trying to post a direct link but I can't since they have a drop down menu that takes you to a page specific to your vehicle choice. The Curt hitch part number is 13554.

I have CURT on mines and looks good and it pulls my jet ski with no issues, lol
