I just replaced the from brake pads last week, I ordered the pads from infinitipartsusa.com. it's OEM parts.. I always use factory parts on all my cars.
after I putted the from new pads up, it making huge noise from both side whenever the car slow down.. I can't stand it any more..
I have to replace it again today, I'm using the aftermarket pads now,, very quite and smooth, I'm happy with it.

anyone have the problem with the factory pads before like me ? :(

I have had factory pads on I like them better then the aftermarket ones I have tried. OEM seems to have the least brake dust. Not the best bite but also not that far off from the the aftermarket pads. The aftermarket pads had way too much dust for my chrome lips.

I have aftermarket (Hawk HPS) and I like the stock brakes better. Did you make sure you put on anti-squeal? There should be no reason they would be squealing or making any noise.

Have you tried Akebono, I was very happy with those.

No but I don't think they would provide less dust then oem and give better stopping power would they?

Dust = similar to OEM
Stopping power = Akebono is better than OEM. Not enough of a difference to switch unless your OEM pads are worn out though.

Centric Posiquiet produces the least amount of dust, but wow, stopping power is even worse than OEM.

Or you can just get AP Racing BBK, I've been experiencing less dust than OEM with the mintex I believe the pads are=)

Evolution makes a nice ceramic pad that i just installed the other day very little brake dust so far but of course there still breaking in ill try to keep you all updated on their status.

Those Posiquiet pads are terrible.

Well they are quiet..I give them that...until they go BOOM!! You just hit another car cause your damn posiquiet pads wouldnt stop you!!

I have them on my Mazda 6....Humberto can attest...they suck!

Sounds like you forgot to use anti-squeal compound. I've replaced my pads, used the compound and I perfectly love the OEM pads. First pads lasted me almost 40k miles or 3 years. I thought it held of quite well.

Centric Posiquiets are downright dangerous

I had ordered Akebonos for my FX, turns out they had shipped the wrong ones, so in a pinch my mechanic was able to source Centric Posiquiets. These have to be the worst brake pads I've ever felt on any vehicle. They are absolutely downright dangerous, it feels like there is OIL on the rotors. There is practically no initial hard bite at all. I've had to modify my driving style by keeping a few additional car lengths more from everyone else on the highway. They are much much worse than OEM and should not be a consideration for anyone to use as replacement pads. I also broke them in properly and made sure they were bedded in correctly. Heck, I even gave them brand new rotors to operate against, same results. Stay far away from these things!

In the past two years I have heard more people return to OEM pads than aftermarket. I have the Hawks on back and will go back to OEM next purchase. In my 6 years in my FX, OEM brake pads have lasted the longest and I have had zero problems with them.

I do have Stoptech BBK pads on the front, so I'm only speaking about the rear pads.

Your previous OEM pads didn't make noise, so that means this set must not have been installed properly?

I have tried all sorts of different aftermarket pads and return to OEM. Akebonos and Hawks were outright dangerous when cold (like oil on the rotors). Another type (can't remember the name off the top of my head) stopped on a dime but turned the wheels black in a couple of days, and made a lot of noise. OEM gives the best blend of performance and quietness.

I've had the same experience with Centric Posiquiet's -- the only benefit was that they were quiet...

Akebonos were the best for OEM calipers in my opinion. Cold braking wasn't an issue for me, they did squeal while cold though.

You did something wrong on the installation and or the break in of the pads.
I just did mine with OE's from infinitipartsusa and got the new hardware kit(shims and clips) as well. You have to get the new hardware kit because the new OE pads have a new anti squeel tab that mates to the new style clip. I used to have squeel when backing up but no more-The new anti squeel tab on pad and clip has completly fixed this problem.
I don't use any anti squeel but a good silicone grease in between shim and pad surfaces.
To break in pads drive up to 35mph and brake taking 15 seconds to come to a stop and repeat this several times. Then just try not to do any hard stops for a couple of days.
The OE pads are good very little brake dust and last a long time thats why I went with them.

I ordered the OEM pads from the infinitiusa.com last time, but I didn't see the hard ware kit from it, so I didn't order the kit at the same time. I think that's the problem.
I want to use the OEM agin, I couldn't find the hard ware kit from the infinitiusa.com for some how...
if it's possible, could you please give me link for the kit...

Thanks
