OEM 20" Chrome wheels peeling / flaking

On my fx45 with chrome wheel option, the chrome is peeling and flaking in some areas. Some areas have what looks like tiny bubles forming too, since my 2005 is still under warranty, i've brought it into infiniti for warranty. I won't know if they will cover it until monday.

Have any fx'ers with the chrome oem 20's ever had this problem??

jabaker1121: can you please let me know if you have any letters or information showing that they replaced them for you under warranty? I am looking for past scenarios to show infiniti canada, that this has happened before and was cover under warranty.

I responded to your PM :)

what they need to do is take pictures of the damage, then send it to infiniti (in your case infiniti canada) and then infiniti decides what to do , not the dealership. so if infiniti tells th edealership to replace the wheels, then they have to, under warranty.

I dont know if you want chromes again - but if they do decide to replace them for you, i personally would go with the regular 20's and not the chromes.
