Obsidian Black w/ GT-R wheels

Nope, as long as the front and rear diameters are about the same. Generally not more then 3% differences.

Hey there, I'm new to the board and had a simple fitment question directed towards: phluphlu. Your car looks great with the GTR wheels. I've a 2012 FX35, RWD. I'm not looking for a staggered setup as I want to be able to rotate front to rear and so forth. I also just purchased brand new tires a month ago so I'd like to stick with the stock size. With that said, I'm wondering about the fit for the following and if I will need spacers for the front wheels to move the rims out far enough so they don't come in contact the stabilizers; there's not a lot of room in there.

Rims: 4 x front GTR 20x9.5, 45mm offset
Tires: Yokohoma Parada Spec-X, 265/50 R20

If I understand how offset works, the OEM rims had a width of 8" and an offset of 50mm. This new combination would now set the rims 24mm's further out and 14mm's inward. (1.5" = 38.1mm so 38/2=19, 19+5=24, 19-5=14) That distance between the rim and stabilizer is pretty tight on my car. Maybe it would be fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Dale

Dale , welcome to the site. The four front GTR wheels will fit your FX with no problems. Your only problem is finding four front wheels.

If you roll the fenders a lot, you'll have to modify a couple of the clips since the metal has been pushed up to the holes they normally fit into. But it's not a big deal and 3M tape or silicone works fine. If you cut the fenders or don't roll too much, they will go back. Keep in mind, you will have to trim the plastic as well. I've pretty much cut mine all the way flat so there is no more edge on the bottom.
