I have absolutely no sounds coming out of the speakers. The screen and controls are all in working order.
For the last year I have been dealing with intermittent lost of sounds from the speakers which would resolve itself randomly. I have noticed that banging on the unit would sometimes bring the sound back. I lived with the issue and never really try to get it repaired.
Fast forward, yesterday, I am trying to install the isimple bluetooth kit. I removed all the panels and proceeded to look for a switched power source to tap into. My goal was to tap into the cigarette lighter. In the process I tapped into a wire which may not have been a power source and there was a tiny smoke that came out to the left of the orange box. The orange box i am referring to is located in the lower panel behind the clock
Do you guys know what this box is and how could i get this fixed?

I wanted to add that I checked the under the hood fuse box as well as the passenger compartment fuse box. All fuses seem to be fine (no open fuses)
