No Parking/DTRL is better than LED

I bought the super white 15 LED from superbrightleds.com and was not happy with the look. They actually looked blue more than anything.

I ended up just taking the bulbs out and screwing the socket back into the housing. Headlights look so much better now without a DTRL/Parking light.

Give it a try!
 
I've been meaning to do this actually, does the DTRL get filled with the HID from reflection? That would be optimal, I'd think.

As time goes by the leds should loose the blue & become mostly white with a hint of blue as an end result.

I personally don't like not having dtrl bc at night the headlight looks like its missing a chunk of light (which would be the dtrls =P)

It seems to me that there is minimal reflection in the DTRL from the HL.

I hear you, but IMO I think it looks cool to have just one round bright source of light. I think it looks cleaner.
 
i also tried this before... but since i dont have the sport or blacked out headlights, it looked (in my opinion) kind of weird...

Check back this weekend... I still havent taken pics of my ride yet. I am still waiting for a few more things to go on (see sig). By the end of next week I should be all set for now. Man i have the mod-bug bad... I have only owned the damn thing for 1 month!
 
Just go outside and remove your own DTRL's. It would take less time than for him to take pics and upload them, plus you can actually see what it looks like. :dontknow:
