I GIVE UP LOL !! I have exhausted my local speed shops and I can not get anyone to take on this project. I do not have the time to tear it apart myself so I just thought I would rant a little on here. Not sure if I ever mentioned it before, but I love my FX37 enough that I would love to get the 550HP kit that I saw two other FXs have.
It amazes me that I have 10K + to spend and can't get anyone to help. I spoke with Stillen a few times and they are by far the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I have owned Nissans my whole life and have spent 10s of thousands in the past with them for other mods on other vehicles and I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. It is one thing to say NO, but to be totally rude and inconsiderate is another thing. It was bad enough to the point were I wish I could send everything back to them I have purchased in past many years. GTM will not answer me. So!! NO FI for me. Unless someone sees this in the South Florida area and wants to help!!
Maybe it is for the better and I can use the $$ towards the Lotus Esprit I always wanted, upgrade to the 6spd and crank the boost! As for the FX I will continue to upgrade the stereo (just added a sub for now), LED with halo fog lamps are on the way, and maybe an interior led in blue??
Thanks to anyone who read this and understands my frustration!!!! If anyone is in South Florida who can point me in the right direction please feel free!!! This is my last attempt!
And yes I know that no one makes a "kit", but the problem is no one will help put a "kit" together!

I don't know if I missed the details in another thread, but what you have written up above is just a hysterical rant. Calm down for a minute, and use your words. What exactly is the issue? Details, facts, these are what you need to focus on.

You start off complaining about local speed shops not willing to take on work, what work?

How is stillen involved here?

I assume you also contacted GTM and got a similar response from them?

I don't mean to sound like a dink, but two separate companies both relatively well known, and generally pretty professional were both rude to you? I dont know man, the only common denominator seems to be you...

I know that if someone told me they wanted to give me $10k I wouldn't intentionally be snubbing that person. Maybe there is some misunderstanding?

Explain your situation thoroughly, and we can go from there and make recommendations. What I will say is that 10K to do FI isn't a massive budget. Seems like a lot, but there are a lot of people on here who can tell you that have gotten into the 30k-50k range for their Twin Turbo builds.

:)

Simply put. I tried to work with Stillen over the phone on the few occasions and the gentleman whom I spoke with was extremely rude and not helpful in the least. He ended up stating that they nor no one will put a kit together or has. My last comment was GTM did on a 35, he said "well, go with GTM then" and hung up on me. I was never rude, and let him know upfront that I am not someone that will waste his time.

What I am trying to do is add an SC to my 37. I probably never mentioned it before on here because I just read all the other posts and started searching myself around the local area. GTM never got back with me. So please don't misunderstand me when I say Stillen is who I am upset with. (well, GTM for never getting back with me, but I have never dealt with them) I HAVE dealt with Stillen in the past because I felt they had very quality products, I will just never deal with them again because imo their customer service was terrible, and their are many other manufacturers out there that have as good of quality or better. Just a matter of who you like dealing with!

Okay I understand now. The thing you have to realize is that they do make a kit for the 3.7. They probably just havn't tested it on an FX yet. I have a buddy with a G37 with the stillen kit on his car.

When you have a platform like the FX which is small in volume and even smaller in number of people who actually modify the platform, you have to do custom work. My recommendation would be buy the kit, take it to a trustworthy local speed shop, and get them to do the custom work to do the install and shakedown.

I certainly am not trying to make excuses for the guy, and he shouldn't have hung up or have been rude, but you ask someone about a part for your car which they don't make. Then when they tell you at this time they don't have any intention on making the part, you state "well someone else makes it so why don't you", my initial response would also be to tell you "good for that company go buy it from them then". Again I'm not making excuses for hwo the guy treated you, just saying in my head I would think your being a bit daft as well.

In addition to that, when you ask someone about a SC kit for the 3.7, stating a completely different company made a SC kit for a 3.5 isn't really helpful...

Alas I digress. If your not going to buy stuff from stillen, your pretty much shit out of luck for going FI on your car unless you plan on doing a completely custom setup.

I completely understand and sympathize.
What you are needing is pretty much a custom build using some existing pieces. So, no kit available, so custom it will have to be.
Stillen is in business to design and manufacture. They don't have much interest in installing or custom fabricating.
GTM is more in the business of design/mfg/and custom fab and custom install. Unfortunately, something tells me they seem to be in a period of "company restructuring" right now, so timing is not on your side. Or maybe it is and you just don't know it.
I suggest searching for a local and experienced shop. Finding one will be tough, but your only option.
Lastly, you may have to consider sending your car out for months if not longer.
