New Wheel? Suggestion Needed

flush is kind of hard to say absolute & precise. it can also depend on how low you go, as you lower the front the wheel kind of retracts into the wheelwell a bit, as you lower the rear the top can camber in a whole lot too, typically requiring having to pull the lower suspension arms in for camber correction which will also pull the wheels in quite a bit. all this affects what "flush" is, what's flush at stock hieght is not the same as what's flush when your lowered a lot. if you have thoughts of lowering a lot that needs to be accounted for in your wheel selection really, & to go very low you can't be 100% flush or your going to scrape the tires on the body on a regular basis... there really is no one magic number that is going to be absolutely correct under all circumstances. if your just going to do a set of H&R's or even Eibachs just stock out of the box is one thing, but if you have thoughts of agressive lowering it changes quite a bit really...

Thanks John. You are always so technical. Good info:tup:. I will probably go with 22 x 9.5 with 35 offset to extends the wheel out by 1". If I need to go lower in the future with the custom coilover, then I will put a spacer.

this is the best calculator I've seen, nothing beats a full side by side visual. I've even saved images of both with screenshot & overlayed to check for clearances. once you know the clearance to the stock size (get a ruler) you can clearly see the clearance to the new size too & know exactly how it's going to fit in the wheelwell visually. a helpful tool

That was the finish combination Viet had on his set before he painted the pacer blue. I really like those wheels, they are going to look amazing on your ride....

Thanks bro. :.smile: Those wheels are expected to come in at the end of April.

I am now looking for some 285/40/22 performance tires and some special lug nuts for extra security for the wheels.

I am currently looking at these.

Volk Racing Formula Lug Nuts (with black end cap):

Or Project Kics R40 Racing Composite Lug Nut - CLOSE END

Anyone has used any of these?
