hey guys I'm a 17 year old still in high school and got my dads 2005 fx35 (handmedown) i have done some mods to it like the stillin cold air intake and blacked it out and installed gauges. i want to do some engine work and thinking about a throttle body spacer? also i can't decide if i should get hfc or test pipes but i have heard from people that the test pipes set off the CEL. i want mine to be loud and want people to know I'm coming but not too loud to the point that it sounds very raspy. any suggestions I'm open to them. thanks

:good::good:

Welcome to the site Ishan.
Wow, 17 years old and you have a FX35 very nice :good:

That's a nice hand me down right there. Welcome to the scene

Throttle body spacers don't work, get a plenum spacer instead, those do work.

Get the HFC's, it's already going to make your car louder. Test pipes are obnoxious sound wise and the fumes get old really quickly. If you space out the O2 sensors, they may not throw a code, but they still might, it depends.

I remember when I was 17 with a 2005 FX35 ;)

don't waste time on the little mods if you are looking for actual performance. I had all the bolt ons you can get and a tune and barely added 20hp.

You've already got the best intake. If you want a little extra get the 5/16th isothermic plenum spacer from motor dyne. Otherwise, nothing else is really worth it unless you go forced induction (big $$$$) -- as far as sound goes, get resonated test pipes like Kinetix and make sure it has a bung spacer so no CEL. -
