I was recently shopping around and stumbled on a 2004 decked out with 35k miles that just came off a lease....why not get it. It is in mint condition (minor things here and there, but what do you expect from a 2004). Can't wait to mod it up!
 
No real concerns on these vehicles. There are a few recalls you should look into to see if they were done. Don't take the dealer's word for it but get the VIN and look it up on the net. A lease return may be a concern as they are either driven horribly bad or not hardly driven at all. But all in all I have not heard many real complaints on used FX's.
 
I checked out the VIN already and everything was taken care of from what I saw with the recalls. I had my mechanic do a full review of the engine and all is good under the hood. Yeah, I never trust a dealer. They tried to sell me on an 06, but the interior was loose as a goose and the person who had that car must have been a construction worker or something...paint on the leather and in weird places too.

I've been visiting the group for quite some time now, but didn't want to join w/o having my ride. I've already taken notes on exhaust/engine mods and exterior/interior mods and will get those lined up soon.
