Bought my first Infiniti...... an 08' FX35 from my father......been a good car......only 80,000 on the dash.......until......
All in the last month........
Developed a grounding issue the fried most of the coil packs. Corrected for $$$$$$!!
And now the speedo is malfunctioning.....Talked to the my local service manager as there was a service bulletin that Infiniti canceled a few years back for the speedo issue. He told me that the issue was never resolved so anyone with those model/years susceptible to the issue just has to eat it. Meaning buy a new/used speedo that probably has the same issue lurking and hope for another 80,000 miles........Really.....? Anyway, off to a rough start, but saw some interesting threads on here and came to gain some insight into how to go about swapping out the old speedo for a new one.
