Well I finally got my Infiniti, i've actually gotten quite a bit of info from this site over the past two weeks. Picked up my car in Chicago, drove it back to Des Moines where I am from. I love it. It has had a few issues already, the throttle body/high idle issue and yesterday I discovered my rear brake where toast (they started grinding horribly) and my passenger seat squeaks! haha

Anyway, fixing the brakes today, go on here and found the thread telling me what I need.

My car is an 04 AWD FX35, all black (I blacked out the grill already) l ready ordered a set of Eibach lowering springs, Now trying to decide on wheels I like the Avantor AV8s but really want to go with the 22" it looks like they fill the wheel opening better on some of the cars I've seen on here.

About me, I own a software startup company, I am HUGE gear head. My project car is a 1990 Mustang, its got the interior of a 1998, and the engine is a 2008 6.8L V10 from a Super Duty truck with a couple of GT35 turbos. Bullet Cams, Probe pistons and Manley H-Beam rods. They come stock with forged steel cranks. Hope to have it ready for the texas mile this fall

Welcome to :iS2: The throttle body cleaning should resolve the high idle issue. Brakes, with your background, you can do it with your eyes closed. :good:

Welcome to the site and congrats on your FX.

Your Mustang sounds like a beast.

Well I had to replace the T/B and the brakes come to find out.. needed new pads in the rear.. my buddy came over and we did it indy car style. We timed ourselves it took 5:39 to replace both sides (two of us) took longer to put the tools away! So, now i am on to replacing the relay in the Sub amp and then new exhaust, s I discovered my cats are bad and I hate CELs
