Hello all, I am having a 2006 Fx35 with Tech,Sport,Tour Diamond Graphite being transferred from Las Vegas to Modesto,Ca. So I still am not technically an owner of an FX but I can't wait. Any tips for a new FX owner as far as modifications that you've personally done.
I want to keep the car as close to stock , but I would like to do certain mod's like intake, and possibly exhaust.
Hrmmmm I guess that's it for now. Nice to meet everyone and I hope to be posting pictures of Fx

Welcome to :iS:! Take a look at the modification sections for a preview of what you can be in store for.

Fx35 2wd or AWD?? Is there any advantages to the 2wd over the AWD??

I purchased the AWD because we go to Lake Tahoe and the Sierra's several times a year, I believe it was a good choice, but I just worry there are some negative aspects to AWD.

The positives outweigh any negative aspects of the AWD. And it is NOT a full time awd system and only really appears when needed.

Welcome to the Scene and don't be shy to ask any questions.

I know GTO-Dave will always chime in.:xd::4tongue:

So keep modding and we are all here to help..

welcome...

when it comes to mods... (IMO) there are 3 main categories... performance, (exterior) aesthetics, and interior....

some examples of performance mods: exhaust, intake, lowering springs etc etc....

examples of aesthetic mods: wheels, springs also will enhance apparence...

interior mods: audio/video, dash...

some folks don't care for apparence but just want to make it go faster than stock... some don't care for speed at all, but want heads to turn when they're rollin' down the street... some want the neighbors to "hear" them coming a mile away (audio), some people all of the above...

what's your budget for your first few mods and go from there...

good luck and enjoy "the Scene" :wink:
