New member from WV (subie pics added)
Hello! I picked up an FX35 a couple of months ago, and I am really enjoying it. I had taken my wife with me to a car lot to pick up a daily driver(I was looking at a Wrangler), and as soon as she saw the FX, it was over. She said something along the lines of, "now that is something that you can drive me around in!". We both very much like it, and I am looking for some mods here and there. I have searched around, reading posts, and am looking for certain used items if you all have them for sale. I would like to find springs and wheel spacers first off, and possiblilty a FSB. A Plenium spacer is also on my list, along with a new intake. I know lots of performace parts sites for other car brands, but not for the FX. A good place to go and look aound would be appreciated. I have picked up a set of race pipes from Turbo XS(uninstalled as of yet), as I knew them from before. I have read through the thread on front grille mods, and saw some great ideas. My other car is an 04 WRX, with stage 4 upgrades. I made 293 awhp at 6800 rpm, redline at 7250, and 307 awtq at 3100. With that power band, it was a very fun car to drive around in! I competed in local auto-x's, rallys-x's, and a few road rally's. I finally decided that more power was needed, so the engine is out, and in pieces. New head porting, cams, rotated mount turbo, new diffs, PPG tranny(launch control!), it is a work in progress, and completed date is unknown. It is turning out to be much more expensive than I had initially planned, and the sound of the FX under full throttle has me wanting to do stuff to it!
