-Hi y'all! I'm new. I just recently purchased my friend's fx45. I knew there were some issues that need to be resolved when I got it. I have replaced the spark plugs, ignition coils already. The other day I replaced the bank 2 camshaft sensor. Before I forget, I noticed that there is a "T" pin (an office supply) sticking out of the camshaft sensor on the bank 2 side. I don't know if that is causing an issue or not. I did order a new camshaft connector which I should be able to pick up tomorrow afternoon. I ended grabbing the wrong part number for the camshaft sensor bank 2 (duralast 5745) from autozone. The part that I replaced was a hitachi part. The position of the part I got from AZ is different than the Hitachi one. The Dorman 907-739 is the same style as the hitachi one. Has anyone tried that brand? I made the duralast 5745 work and the car does run however, today I went to O'reilly Auto Parts and the codes that appear on the scanner tool are P0507, P0430, P0420. Prior to replacing the camshaft sensor, the only code that came up was the P1145. I did disconnect the (-) battery cable prior to doing all of the repairs. I need to be able to pass emissions in order to continue driving the car. Where should I begin? Any help/advice is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
