Picked up an 07 FX on saturday, so far i'm really loving it! Definitely a major upgrade from the 98 honda accord i was driving before. I've been into cars, bikes and dragracing for years - i also have a 95 mustang with a TT 5.8L. I just got out of the military last november and the mustang had been an unfinished project that i've barely even touched in 6 years - including the 4 that i was away (ok technically i swapped in the Heads/Cam/Intake 5.8, complete sumped fuel system and fabbed the turbo kit on my "vacations" when i would come home). I used to love turning wrenches on it but i've barely touched it since i got back... but i'll get back in to it eventually that is for sure. I could never sell that thing, it's like my 2nd heart LOL.
Been digging through this forum since before i even bought the FX just looking for ideas and i've come across a lot of great posts and info. I'm really more of a lurker though so you guys wont be seeing me post very often. I've got a few small cheap mods on the way for the FX but i definitely don't PLAN on getting crazy with it. To be honest though.... I love welding and turbos.. so that MIGHT happen eventually.:bulgy-eyes:
So far i've got the following items ordered;
-LEDs for the full interior, DTRL,Fogs, Turn signals, Reverse lights
-Sport tail lights
-3M Tint for the front
-Clifford 5204 with remote start
Only mods i'm planning on at the moment are;
-GetLuckiFx's LED turn signal mirror mod
-POSSIBLY Thiefcode's grille mod, or at the very least wrapping the grill with matte black vinyl along with the handles, badges, and basically anything that is too reflective. I hate shiny things, they aren't very stealthy.
-Independent fog lights
-20-22" wheels
-Sport / black housing headlights
-CF engine cover / intake duct
I think that is it.... For now. I'll try to get around to posting a pic of the FX today or tomorrow but it is BONE STOCK and a boring silver color so there is really nothing to see. I'll probably end up posting more pics of the mustang
