Long time lurker, first time poster. I was browsing this site long before I finally bought my FX50.
It all started with my 2000 Infiniti I30, purchased in 2004. Kept that for a number of years then stepped up to a used 2005 G35 sedan. Also kept that one for a number of years. I bought a 2010 Nissan Titan 4x4 crew cab in 2016 and sold the G35 shortly after. I plan on keeping the truck til the wheels fall off but I have always been looking at the FX50 since it came out. Prices were too high for me though. However, prices have finally come down to where I feel OK now. I was only looking at 2012's and up. Took a while to get one since there just aren't that many. Then I also only wanted cars that had been in southern states only.....due to possible rust underneath. Plus only sport packages with light colored interiors. That further limited my options. I lost out to a few that were out of state since people were snapping them up so fast. Finally found a 2013 with 77K miles that was about 200 miles away in Melbourne, FL (Autotrader). He was only asking $22K but I offered him $22,500.00 so that he would deal with me and no one else. He agreed, I already had the loan approved so I just had to go over there and get it. All worked out. The car is like new. He took meticulous care of it. When I got there I remember him trying to sell me on the car, showing me things about it. I was like......my mind was already made up the moment I saw the ad. Where do I sign?
