New FX owner in central jersey

Hey guys, my name is Sach. I swapped out my 08 IP G37S for a 2011 black/graphite FX35AWD. Snow was killing me in my hour commute so I had to trade up to something that made sense and was safe to drive in the snow. Couldn't see myself enjoying the G37xS when I test drove it. I got the whole speed demon taken care of with the G and I got a bike over the summer so that takes care of some of it too. I'm looking forward to getting help and providing some knowledge as well!

I'll let you know when I pick it up on Friday/Saturday. All the paperwork is done, just waiting for delivery. I have to wait for the color combo I asked for to be delivered from the port. It's expected Friday, but now with another storm comining, hopefully it won't be delayed, I'll post pics when I get it. From the test drive though, I enjoyed it. I've gotten over the sports car theme for now and have always enjoyed driving bigger trucks. Used to drive an F-350 Ambulance so the big rig ride was great. I enjoy that the FX is an suv, but gives a car like ride.

I have an 07 GSXR 750 blue/white.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome! Sorry if it's premature to say I swapped out :nerd (2):, since I still have the G for this week, but she will be gone by saturday pending the snow storm on the east coast :eek.:

Thannks man! Oh yeah, a lot smoother ride but I didn't have have a problem with the sport suspension and 19" low profiles tires. I had issues with getting around in inches of snow! Now that I have this, I predict no more snow this winter!

Thanks man. Yah I picked up the G from them too 2 years ago, sad to see it go but now to enjoy the new ride!
 
Welcome : I'm sure it was tough trading in the G but you'll def appreciate it in the winter. The FX is basically like a big sports car so you'll be happy with it. Enjoy !
 
Welcome to IS! I traded in my '07 Lexus IS rear-wheel drive for my new '10 FX50 for the exact same reason. I was slipping around too much whenever it snowed or got icy, and I needed something more reliable to get me to and from work. I love the combination of AWD, power, and utility in the FX's. It makes my commute safer and little more relaxing.
