Hi im Sandi and just picked up my 2014 QX80 four days ago from a 3rd party used car dealership called Beverly Hills Auto Gtoup in Elmont, NY. They are a boutique car dealership & sell only high-end vehicles. Fell in love with this White QX80 with grey interior and searched for over a year to find. Millage was kinda high but same as car I was trading in at 84k. So the issue....i drove truck home and all was well UNTIL I slowed down to turn into my driveway! The truck rpms dropped like it stalled but didn't and I had to press pedal quite a bit to get truck to move THEN when I put it in park and leg go of brake pedal, truck jerked like a huge jerk occurred! When I tried to pull out and see WTF was happening, I heard a LARGE BANG as i put my truck in reverse! My driveway is on the same slight incline most homes have. I'm on flat ground and my driveway isn't any different that average homeowner, no hill or anything like that. I tried several times to reiinact pulling in and parking and it seems truck boggs down to almost zero rpms then when doing a sharp turn and trying to slowly creep into driveway truck justdoesn't have any power until you depress gas pedal WAY more than should be necessary and you can feel truck struggling and slightly jerking. When put in park after a few seconds go by, truck slightly jumps before idling on park suck scared crap out of me as my kids were already with door open and stepping out of truck. Im besides myself right now and need to bring truck back to dealer today. Reading on many Infinkty forums of ppl with same issue. Im going to try parking with parking brake in driveway today but I noticed the jumping also on flat ground at a parking ng lot. Regardless,....bigger issue is my car bogging down and jerking when stopped and wheel is fully cut or even not fully cut. Where's my power going?? Ughh...help!
