New '03 GS on Willow FX35 AWD from AZ

Hi all! I just purchased an '03 FX35 AWD and have been lurking for a few days to see what others have done. IS and "The Org" are a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate everyone's contributions. I had never really thought about getting an FX but when I was able to get an '03 with 48k on the ticker for $12,500 all in I was ON BOARD.

Have always loved the look of the FX and now I have one in my garage (even if it is kinda old). Fortunately I was able to sell my '06 RAV for more than I bought the FX for so I got an upgrade for free (got paid really). I won't ever have the kind of builds that others on here have but it feels good to be part of the FX owner group now.

Congrats on a FX with super low mileage, I bought my 2003 FX with 63k and now it reads 95k still loving it!

I bought my 09 FX50S in Sept of 09 with 5200 miles on it and now I have a little over 18,000 on it! Welcome the the Infiniti club!
 
Nice, another AZ member! Welcome from another newb. I think my 2008 had the same mileage when i bought it. Good find!
 
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I was originally thinking that I would have this for a couple of years and flip it to break even or make some coin, kinda falling for this thing but the mileage... Got 14.5mpg in city and averaged 20mpg bringing it back from CA. I guess that is the price I pay for a heavy foot in a heavy ride. Hopefully I can find a few other AZ owners to meet up with sometime. Whaddaya say JP?

I hear ya on the mpg, I'm lucky if I can avg 17-18 mpg. I originally bought mine so I would have more space for the baby and then sell it or trade it in, but the FX has grown on me and I enjoy it more then my old G35S.

I'm down in Phoenix/Tempe/Chandler area so let me know if you want to have a meet. I think there are a few FXs on :iS: out here.

I live in North Peoria so we are about as far apart as possible, maybe we can get a few owners together @ Cars and Coffee in Scottsdale on the 1st Sat of an upcoming month.
