Need help with tires!

Hi everyone,

Please excuse my lack of knowledge on this subject (hey at least I admit it )
I need a new set of tires for my 2003 FX 35 AWD...I'm sad to say I know very little about tires and this is the first time I'm purchasing tires on my own for this car so I am completely confused and overwhelmed with all this new information (and somehow don't know anyone who knows a thing about tires either) There are literally hundreds of opinions, name brands, prices, sizes and everything so I just need to narrow it down.

I currently have the Yokohama geolander 265/60R18 110H tires. I just recently moved to Toronto so dealt with some snow this year and my tires did not do well at all in the snow (it may be because my tires were older at this point). I need some recommendations as to which all weather tires you all have had good experiences with, and within a reasonable price (under 230/tire) and within the same size range as my old ones. I don't do anything too intense just regular driving and need good handling as well.

So far I have a few that I was told might be good options:
Bridgestone Dueler Alenza
Michelin Latitude
Yokohama (so far have heard many positive reviews about this brand but any other types other than the Geolander that would be good all weather tires?)

I am definitely doing my own research as well just wanted to see what you all had to say too!

I really appreciate your help!! And any extra beginner info would be greatly appreciated too :)

Here is a thread that was started the other day. Look at what people have said here and should at least give you a good starting point.mmost guys would recommend probably like 4 tires that seem to be most popular here. They will be discussed a little in this thread.

As far as size goes...I have stock 18s as well and going with the 265/60/18 you can't go wrong. You don't need to wow anyone with your 18 inch wheels. So I would think at least

Since I live in Florida I can't comment on snow performance but check out the reviews of different tires on tirerack.com. Their own ratings and customer reviews helped me out a lot the last time I was tire shopping.

Most people seem to ask about 20" tires so just know the ones you read about on here may not be available in 18".
