Hey everyone - Couple questions for u guys. Wifes 05FX is squeaking after brake job, so i think i am going to apply some brake quiet on the back of the pads and i heard u can sand the pads and rotors. Does that mean just take some 220 sand paper and scuff up the the pads and rotors ? Any certain technique for the rotors? Also want to grease where the pad sits in the caliper clips and slide pins. Can i use any old brake grease?
Lastly, done any have the torque specs for a front/back brake job? Thanks [emoji3]

Did you bed the brakes in yet? Find a nice open stretch of freeway. Do like 7-8 60 to 20mph hard stops in quick succession. Don't come to a complete stop or you'll leave material on your rotor. After the last hard stop then just drive around without using the brakes to let them cool off.

2005 Stock brakes. Sometimes they squeak other times not. Always when cold stopping in reverse. It might go away for a little while but it will come back. Common problem & doesnt effect performance

yep they were bedded by sears. Wife got the brake job from them awhile back and I am just getting around to what I need to do. Anyone have the torque specs and what I mentioned above? Cheers
