Hi all pros, I'm kinda new to mod, and I'm thinking of get a set of rims. But I'm kinda confused on the wheels size, offset, etc. For example, I have an 05 AWD. Is it possible to get different width between front and rear? Thanks for all ur pro advice in advance.

Of course you can. If you are asking if different offsets on a AWD cause problems to the system the answer is NO. I will say go up to a maximum 15 mm difference between front and rear.

If I'm getting something like Fronts: 20X9 Tire size: 255/30/20 & Rears: 20X10.5 Tire size: 295/25/20. Or like Fronts: 20X9 Tire size: 245/35/20 & Rears: 20X10.5 Tire size: 275/30/20. Are these setting gonna work? Thanks.

Those tires are way to small for the FX. Try to size up to 22's or put larger tires like 265/50R20, 275/50R20, 275/45R20, 295/45R20 etc... Anything that is close to the OEM wheel size. Staggered fitment works on the FX but you have to be at close as possible between tires diameteres. 265/50R20 and 295/45R20 have the same diameter so it is a good starting point for a 20" rim if you want staggered and those rims (20x9 and 20x10,5) work perfect with the tires.

ok, so u mean the rims 20x9 and 20x10.5 would fit our AWD. and the only thing i have to worry about is the tire size, right? also u mean if im getting different width between front and rear (like 265 and 295) would not have any problem at all?

I said that the 265/50R20 and 295/45R20 tires have the same diameter. I don't know about other tire sizes. What i'm saying is to keep an eye on the offset. I have on a 2nd Gen 20x9 38 offset on front and 20x10,5 25 offset on the rears with 265/50R20 and 295/45R20 tires. The rears stick out a bit but it doesnt bother me that much. There are other forum members that are running GTR rims on a first Gen AWD FX35 wich are 20x9,5 and 20x10,5. Use the tire calculators to know exactly how the new set of wheels will sit in the wheel fender.

Listen to what he's saying. Keep the diameter very close since you are an awd. Staggered set up look very good but if u push it too much you will have the vdc light to deal with.
