Nav Compass Fix?

A few weeks ago I did the Nav while moving mod (pin #28) on my 04 35. Mounted the switch on the little removable window panel on the front of the passenger seat. Everything worked fine for a couple of weeks except apparently I made my "jumper wires" a tad short in that my wife pulled the seat forward and raised it as high as it would go and it unpluged/un-did the add-on wires to the switch (not at the plug at that nav unit)

I did a quick fix/repair prior to dark, and now the little cursor that shows vehicle postion moves again but now the compass on the nav is slow to react/doesn't hardly react. It mostly shows north as straight up no matter which direction I travel, once stopped, it moves/adjustes a bit but seldom does it get the proper direction of travel, such that it never has my location on the street that I'm traveling. Often, on no street at all. Often nowhere near where I am, until I stop and then it gets close (same neighborhood)...

I ejected the Nav DVD, plugged it back in hoping it would somehow reset to no avail.

I won't have time to mess with again until next weekend.

Does anyone know which pin # at the nav unit is the compass feed?
I'm thinking it's somehow been pulled out, not real sure just yet but if I know which pin # to check, at least that will be a place to start.

Open to any/all thoughts/ideas and/or similar experiences. Thanks in advance.

I notice the the little diamond cursor that is the compass indicator on the nav screen, is basically cut in half, the top triangle has the "N" designation for north. It stays red. :questionmark: I've never paid any attention before, is that normal or perhaps an indication of a lost signal?
