My FX is retiring.

Congrats! I'm sure it's been time for an upgrade for a while...

When I was looking at audis I noticed their forums are sort of dead too. vwvortex seemed to be the most "active"
 
congrats man on the audi ride. Hope you stick around. Make a thread in the automotive other forum in iS and we'd love to see more pics, follow the mods eventually, etc!

Hey now! Congrats on the new S4! Loving that car. Go out and get yourself a set of used wheels from the Prestige Package. They look great and I'm sure you can pick some up for cheap. If you are looking for an active forum, check here: http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4b8/ I know a lot of guys/gals use that very frequently. Feel free to hang around here too and keep us updated with any modifications if you decide to do them. Good luck with it.
 
Thanks everyone for kind words and well wishes. It's only been a few days since I picked it up and of course been too busy to go for a decent drive, but will make time soon enough. I'm a believer in properly breaking in a new car, call me silly. I'm already up to about 450 miles and will change oil once it gets to 1,500 than we'll see if all the hype has a solid foundation.

No mods planned as of yet, but knowing myself, bug will bite probably after about a year which is why I'm already taking notes on all the links and suggestions hehe. Definitely a different driving experience compared to my FX. Love it both but the quickness of the S4 is pretty impressive to say the least even when taking it easy. Will start a thread as jdTrader suggested and keep everyone updated. It's great to know I'm still welcomed here...I wasn't gonna leave anyway :tongue:

S4 is a nice choice, congrats and nice to hear the FX is going to a nice pampered pasture to pass its last years.
