Just wanted to share a photo of my newly acquired 2003 FX45 with 28k miles and Premium and Tech packages at the Nissan dealership.

BTW, here's a pic of my 2000 BMW M5 (Carbon Black) with 35k miles and numerous DINAN options kicking out 475hp that I sold a few years ago. I installed newer M5 wheels as the originals really dated the car.

zebra, I have no real plans at the moment. Well, aside from some wheels that recently caught my eye and maybe a cold air intake.

To be honest, I pretty much like the way the FX sits and drives as-is. Now I do have a little R&D project in the exhaust arena that I started a few years ago and I think the FX may the perfect candidate to further / conclude my research.

Otherwise, I've already got my other passions in life - did I say I was married? :) I also mfg'er a product in the high-end audio industry that is struggling at the moment and consumes a fair amount of my spare time.

Nice ride with super low miles ..... hopefully the "bug" will get you on the FX as well ..... not a lot of off the shelf options on the V8 ...... contact Slamming45 for your CAI option ... it's called the MantaRay - I have it on mine and it is lovely .... looks clean after install ........

Good Luck with audio and again congrats on the LOW mileage FX

Thanks for the comments, everyone.

Adeo, can you point me to pics of the MantaRay?

I am already "bugged" as I've spent quite a few hours looking into various areas of my FX. But right now all resources are too precious. This is why I'm actually kinda' bummed to even have purchased the FX. It's drawing me in and I simply don't have the resources right now. It's a good problem, but an addicting problem nonetheless. But I'll get over it. It's good to see a forum like infinitiscene.com and what you guys are doing because it certainly substantiates my purchase. I knew nothing about the FX's until I drove 60 miles to pick it up. Until then, I just thought it was a beautiful design.

Come to think of it, when I look at my FX picture above, it almost looks a bit like a baby whale. But it's still very cool and with careful wheel selection I hope to spruce things up just a bit.
