Music Box / Navigation controls stop when vehicle moving

Is there any way to disable the head unit from pausing when the car is moving?

Specifically, if you want to search the Music Box for a different album to play, you cannot when the car is moving. But when using the iPod interface, you can scroll through your iPod artists, songs, etc. What gives?

Can pausing under Music Box be disabled when the car is moving? I know this is also similar to the Navigation system where you can't search for a previous address or scroll from the Address Book.

Yep. Pain in the ass. Honestly it takes so long to rip something into the music box that I will never use it I don't think.

Ipod and XM means I don't need it.

there's a few ways to do this. the easiest being finding the wire that records wether you are stopped or not and simply grounding it

That will work for the NAV too?

Look in the G35 forums they have the instructions on which to cut and ground. I'll try to look for it and edit later.

yeah i have my gps wired so i can flip a switch while im moving to turn off tracking so i can nav input while moving...

I need to do this on my 09... never did on my other fx's before.
