I dont know for sure but normally on E i can get about 21 gallon in there before a click so i know it is not 20.

Both 1st and 2nd Gen FX35, FX45, FX50 all have a 23-3/4 US gallon capacity.

Yep that's what I thought I knew the FX had a fuel tank that hold at least 23.. Usually mine always say it's full at 22 when is on E.

Cool - learn something new every day on here. So the tank is almost 24 gallons. I could see getting pretty darn close to 420 on an empty tank (17.5mpg), but I'd be watching that "E" light and hoping for a gas station!

I get closer to 18.7mpg, on a normal work week (60 miles per day), but I never get much more than 340 to a tank of 93 Octane. I need to fill up after five days of going to work. Maybe my gauge needs to be calibrated or looked at or something. Wonder if it is reading lower than it really is.

Yeah around town (city) sucks but its cool beans on the freeway. I stare at e light at times but i normally fill up with about 2 gallons left

my E light pops on when i hit 240 miles...then at 300 miles i fillup about 20 gallons, that damn thing needs calibration!

hmmmmm I think there are 2 floats in the tank and it takes the difference to calculate. But if you are only getting around 300 miles on a tank that should be from city and around town driving which makes sense. that means you are getting 13 ish
