Im sure many of you have used a cd or usb to play music. I have a lot of songs on my usb and i like to listen to music and browse for a song, however when i scroll around for music the car plays the song that i hover over if i stop for a quick second, still trying to look for a new song. Is there anyway to browse through songs and press enter to have it play?

I am more interested in the usb part of this post. How are you putting a usb whatever in your stereo? I have CF and ipod hook ups, but no usb. Is there a different cable I can get for usb instead of ipod/iphone?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I've got a usb/ipod port in the storage compartment between the front seats.. yours should be the same.

Mine is just a custom plug and I have a cable that is made for the ipod. Perhaps since it is an 09 or some other difference. That is very cool that you have that. :)

09 and 10 is different hookups. You can still do everything though...when you bought the car should have given you an adapter with it for all your ipod, iphone, etc hookups.

I brought my car used, and the previous owner must have kept the iPod cable adapter. After searching for days for the Infiniti parts number for the iPod adapter, I tried plugging in the usb iPod cable I had in the house. Worked like a charm! If it stops raining, I want to try viewing an episode of Tru Blood in the car using a usb memory stick. The users manual makes me think you can plug in any type of usb cable/flash drive and if the media is recognized, it'll work w/ the Navi system.
