whatsup FXers?

i have a question for the fellas on the east coast who has the plenum spacers. i was wondering what kind of spacer are you using? ISO thermal or copper ISO thermal. my concern is the possiblity of freezing the throttle body when temp drops. i'm in PA and it can drop into single digits sometimes. :confused.:

The iso-thermal spacer isn't for heating the TB, it's for preventing heat transfer from your engine to the plenum. There is a coolant line that connects to the plenum about an inch from where the TB attaches that keeps the TB from freezing by pumping hot coolant through the small end of the plenum. A "warming" coolant line, if that makes sense...

I heard that it is no point at all to buy a iso/copper thermal spacer.
Waste of money, better spend less on the normal one.
The higher price doens't add anything on your performance with the iso or thermal spacer.
