Momo Shift Knob Owners - Help needed

I put my Momo shift knob on too tight (the bottom piece that screws on). Anyone know which way to turn? Counterclockwise? I don't want to break it trying the wrong way.

I have to readjust the height because it rattles at idle.

as for the rattle , make sure you tighten the allen bolt inside the knob (very top)

edit: as for the lower ring it would be left since the thread is facing down.

Are you talking about the bottom piece? I walked out to the car and checked. To screw it on you twist it to the right and it screws up and on. To remove twist to the left and down.

Don't worry Ed you won't break it even if you did go the wrong way. Make sure you tighten all three screws.

Hey thanks -- I thought something was wrong when I was turning it to the right to loosen as it wouldn't!

So exactly the opposite -- rightly loosey, lefty tighty...
